From customer list to approved routes

Set up once, add your customers, and approve the routes Axiom Routing builds for you.

How Axiom Routing works

  1. STEP 1

    Set up your business

Add each depot with its address, the days your routes run and the length of your working day, including time to load up and take a break.

Add your vehicles and what limits them, such as bays, gallons or pounds. If time is your only limit, skip capacity entirely.

Pick an industry to start from and the app fills in your services and your words. Change anything later.

  2. STEP 2

    Add your customers

Each location gets the services it needs, how often in weeks, and how much of each product, if you deliver.

Set time on site per service, override it for a location that always runs long, and add an arrival window where a customer needs one.

  3. STEP 3

    Generate your routes

Axiom Routing splits your customers between your drivers by area, gives each weekday its own territory, and keeps postal codes together so nobody crosses town twice.

Google Route Optimization then builds every route within your working day and your vehicle's capacity, with weekly customers on the same day each week and biweekly customers on a steady week pair.

  4. STEP 4

    Review and approve

You see every route and anyone who did not fit, with the reason, such as a full truck or a long day. Nothing is saved until an owner or admin approves.

  5. STEP 5

    Run the calendar

Route days are built ahead from the routes. Add one-off stops, move stops between days and reorder a day by hand, and those changes stay.

When a day is closed, it shows up on your office's list. Ask for a proposed reroute into the open days you choose, review it, and approve.

  6. STEP 6

    Grow without starting over

New customers get a recommendation for the route and spot that fits best, measured by real driving distance. Approve it and only that customer is added.

As your book changes, re-optimize a driver's routes. Customers keep their weekday unless you choose to allow day changes, and any day change is listed before you approve.

Questions

Does Axiom Routing replace my billing software?

No. Axiom Routing plans and keeps your routes and schedule. It does not do invoicing, payments or accounting, so you keep the software you use for those.

Where do the driving distances come from?

From Google. Routes are solved with Google Route Optimization, and new-customer recommendations are checked against real driving distances.

Can I see a change before it happens?

Yes. Every change that moves customers or builds routes is a proposal you review first. If the routes changed while you were looking, it asks you to refresh rather than apply an outdated plan.

Can different people have different access?

Yes. Owners and admins manage settings and approve generated routes, dispatchers run customers and the calendar, and drivers see their own days.
